D-Link, the industry pioneer in networking,
introduces the D-Link Structured Cabling Systems family of products.
These products include High Speed USB
2.0 cables, and RF extension
cables for D-Link wireless antennas. The cables are protected
with PCV plastic that is strong but flexible enough to fit into
tight working spaces. All the cables in this family conform to the
highest standards and have been certified by UL laboratories.
D-Link's USB 2.0 cables are USB-IF
certified to ensure that your USB devices will work and operate at
the fastest speed possible. USB 2.0 extends the speed of the
peripheral-to-PC connection up to 480Mbps* - 40 times faster than
USB 1.1 when connected to another USB 2.0 device. The USB 2.0 cables
can also be used to connect legacy USB 1.1 devices. The higher
bandwidth supports applications such as digital image creation and
web publishing, where multiple high-speed peripherals run
simultaneously.

D-Link Antenna Extension Cables provide more distance between a wireless device and the device’s
antenna to optimize wireless LAN deployments. Rugged and durable,
these cables are designed for indoor, outdoor, or rooftop wireless
installations**. Most routers and access points on the market today
are equipped with a detachable standard antenna that can perform up
to a certain distance or area. To accommodate integrators seeking to
upgrade their default antenna to a higher gain antenna without
risking signal loss, D-Link offers antenna cables in various lengths
and connector types to help meet installation requirements. This
enables wireless devices to be placed in a more ideal area to avoid
environmental degradation, while the antenna itself can be placed
away from a device and mounted in an open area for optimal wireless
signal transmission and reception. In turn, networks will experience
less signal loss and increased network performance. Connector types
include RP-SMA, RP-TNC and RP-N and may be color-coded for easy
installation.
